Originally from underground salt springs in Villena, Spain, our hand-harvested salt flakes are dried by the Mediterranean sun in the Alicante breeze. The salt flakes are then smoked in a closed chamber with burning oak wood for several weeks. Smoked salt is extremely popular in Nordic cuisine and can be used with all kinds of ingredients.
