The Green Mountain Plant-Based Filet (Chicken-Style)

But a vegan alternative made from wheat, soy and peas, with a taste and texture that's really close to the original. Fried or grilled, you can enjoy their Chicken-Style Filet in all your favourite chicken dishes. Just without the chicken.

The Green Mountain Plant-Based Filet (Chicken-Style)
… with mushroom cream sauce & potatoes
Ingredients (4 servings)
4 «The Green Mountain» filets
100g small oyster mushrooms
100g small white mushrooms
100g chanterelles
1 tbsp rapeseed oil (or other cooking oil)
1 small white onion, finely sliced
½ clove garlic, finely chopped
50ml white wine
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
½ tsp mustard
½ l cream
Salt, black pepper
Ingredients
500-600g new potatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
A little tomato or pepper flakes
Salt, pepper
Instructions:
1. Clean the mushrooms and fry briefly in a pan with the onion and garlic.
2. Add the white wine and let it reduce briefly. Add the cream and mustard and simmer everything together for 2–3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and finally stir in the parsley.
Tip: Of course, other types of mushrooms can also be used.
The cream can also be replaced with vegan "cream".
3. Boil the potatoes in salted water, peel and fry briefly in the olive oil without colouring. Season with salt and pepper. Finally, sprinkle with tomato flakes and parsley and mix well.
To serve: Cook the filet according to the instructions on the packaging and place in the middle of the plate. Arrange the mushroom sauce around it. Garnish with chervil and parsley leaves.
