Sidroga Reizhustentee, herbal tea for use in adults and children aged 12 and over
Active ingredient: mallow leaves

Read the entire package leaflet carefully as it contains important information for you. This medicine is available without a prescription. However, to achieve the best possible treatment results, Sidroga Reizhustentee must be used as directed.

1. WHAT IS SIDROGA REIZHUSTENTEE AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Sidroga Reizhustentee is a herbal medicine for catarrhal diseases of the upper respiratory tract. Sidroga Reizhustentee is used for mucous membrane irritation in the mouth and throat and associated dry, irritated cough.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING SIDROGA REIZHUSTENTEE?

Sidroga Reizhustentee must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to mallow leaves.

Special care must be taken when taking Sidroga Reizhustentee if the symptoms described in section 1 persist for more than 3 days, in case of shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum. In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.

When taking Sidroga Reizhustentee with other medicines

Interactions with other medicines have not been reported to date. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Children

There is no evidence of any risks from the widespread use of mallow leaves as a medicine. However, there are no adequate studies on the use of mallow leaves in children under 12 years of age. Therefore, taking Sidroga Reizhustentee is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

There is no evidence of any risks from the widespread use of mallow leaves as a medicine. However, there are no adequate studies on the use of mallow leaves during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Therefore, taking Sidroga Reizhustentee is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicines.

Driving and using machines

No special precautions are required.

3. HOW TO TAKE SIDROGA REIZHUSTENTEE?

Always take Sidroga Reizhustentee exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, drink one cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows 3 times a day. Preparation: Pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 2 Sidroga Reizhustentee filter bags, leave to infuse for about 10 to 15 minutes and remove the filter bags. Do not take Sidroga Reizhustentee without medical advice if the symptoms persist for more than 3 days or recur periodically. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Sidroga Reizhustentee is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken more Sidroga Reizhustentee than you should and you notice any symptoms due to the higher dosage, please inform your doctor. He/she can decide on any necessary measures.

If you have any further questions on the use of the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

No side effects have been reported to date.

5. HOW TO STORE SIDROGA REIZHUSTENTEE?

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the sachet/folding box after < Expiry date >. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions: Please store the medicine in the original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture.

The active ingredient is: mallow leaves. 1 filter bag (at 0.9 g) contains 0.9 g mallow leaves.
