Application:

• Protects and moisturises the surface of the eye and makes it smooth.
• For relief from dry eyes and mild, non-pathological irritation caused by environmental discomfort of the eye, such as burning, fatigue, prolonged work in front of a screen or wearing contact lenses.
• Supports cell regeneration as a soothing moisturiser.
• Suitable for all types of contact lenses.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Interaction with other agents

Do not use at the same time as medicines or other products that are applied to the eye, as Hylo-Vision HD plus can alter their effect.

Product description

Hylo-Vision HD plus eye drops contain 0.2% highly purified sodium hyaluronate and allantoin in phosphate-buffered saline with polyhexanide, a gentle preservative. Sodium hyaluronate is a natural substance that is also found in the human eye. The sodium hyaluronate used is not of animal origin, but is obtained by fermentation. Allantoin is a plant-based active ingredient that is obtained, for example, from the comfrey plant. The contents of the bottle have been sterilised by filtration; sterility is only guaranteed if the bottle is intact.

Composition

1 ml solution contains 2 mg highly purified sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, 0.0015 mg polyhexanide (PHMB), 0.1 mg sodium edetate (EDTA), isotonic phosphate buffer, purified water.

Dosage

Instil 1 - 2 drops of Hylo-Vision HD plus into the conjunctival sac as required.

Instructions for use:

• Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
• Check the bottle for damage to ensure that the contents are sterile.
• To open, turn the screw cap anti-clockwise until the safety seal breaks.
• Hold the bottle upside down and instil 1–2 drops into each eye. Blinking will distribute the solution and form a transparent layer of fluid on the surface of the eye. Make sure that the eye does not come into contact with the bottle to avoid injury or infection.
• The eye drops can be used with all types of contact lenses. Suitable for adults and children.
• If other eye preparations are being used in addition to Hylo–Vision HD plus, there should be an interval of about 30 minutes between applications.

Storage

At temperatures of 2 - 25°C. Do not freeze. Shelf life after opening: 3 months. Protect from light and sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage of the preparation

The solution should not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Note: Do not use if the bottle is damaged. Do not use if the liquid is cloudy or discoloured. Do not touch the eye with the bottle. If you experience any side effects, seek medical advice.
