Munich Munch Pretzel Piece Truffle

Crispy pretzel pieces refined with delicious truffle. The new cult snack from Munich: tasty pretzels, cut and double-baked with olive oil. Each variety is refined with fine spices from the Viktualienmarkt in the factory and packed by hand.

It was 2016 when two friends were talking about the classic bowl of peanuts over a beer in a pub. An evening that led them to the idea for their company: a local snack - the origin of Munich Munch, the crispy pretzel pieces. After the founders spent 9 months baking through the nights in a catering bakery in Munich, the pretzel pieces are now produced in a local family business.

The snack is double-baked with the finest olive oil. With herbs, fine sea salt from the Viktualienmarkt and spices, the different varieties are refined in the factory and packed by hand. Käfer has four different varieties in its range: classic with rosemary, spicy with paprika and extravagant with truffle or curry. In addition to the delicatessen trade, the snack is also offered in small local kiosks, hotels and bars. The pretzel pieces were also a hit as a Wiesn snack at the champagne bar of the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke.
