Aconit ear drops

Composition

10 g (11 ml) contain: Aconitum napellus e tubere ferm 33e Dil. D9 oleos. 1.0 g (HAB, Vs. 33c and 12j, in refined peanut oil), D Camphor 0.1 g, Lavandulae aetheroleum 0.1 g, Quarz Dil. D9 oleos. 1.0 g (HAB, Vs. 8a and 12j, in refined peanut oil). Other ingredient: Refined peanut oil. Contains peanut oil.

Contraindications

Aconit ear drops must not be used:

• in case of an open (perforated) eardrum.
• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to camphor or any of the other active ingredients peanut oil or soya.

Dosage and type of application

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 drop of body-warm oil should be instilled into the ear 3 to 5 times a day.

Duration of application

In acute situations, treatment may be necessary for up to one week. Longer treatment should only be carried out after consultation with a doctor.

Side effects

Peanut oil can rarely cause severe allergic reactions. In very rare cases, this medicine may cause mild skin irritation.
