Active ingredient: Sabal dry extract

1. WHAT IS PROSTAGUTT UNO AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Prostagutt uno is a herbal prostate remedy. Prostagutt uno is used for complaints when urinating with a benign enlargement of the prostate (urination problems with benign prostatic hyperplasia, stage I to II according to Alken). Note: This medication only improves the symptoms of an enlarged prostate, without eliminating the enlargement. Therefore, please see your doctor at regular intervals. In particular, a doctor should be consulted if there is blood in the urine or acute urinary retention.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING PROSTAGUTT UNO?

Prostagutt uno must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to preparations made from saw palmetto fruits or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.

When Prostagutt uno is taken as directed, no special precautions are necessary.

Interactions with other medicines
None known. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

3. HOW TO TAKE PROSTAGUTT UNO?

Always take Prostagutt uno exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Type of application

For oral use. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is: You should take 1 capsule of Prostagutt uno (corresponding to 320 mg of Sabal extract daily) once a day.

How and when should you take Prostagutt uno?
The capsules are taken whole with a little liquid.

How long should you take Prostagutt uno?
The duration of use is not limited in time. However, you should see your doctor at regular intervals.

If you have taken more Prostagutt uno than you should

No overdose symptoms are known to date.

If you forget to take Prostagutt uno

If you forget to take Prostagutt uno, you should continue to take Prostagutt uno as prescribed and do not change the dosage without a doctor's instructions.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Prostagutt uno can have side effects. The list includes all known side effects under treatment with Sabal dry extract, including those under higher dosage or long-term therapy. The following frequency information is used to evaluate side effects

In rare cases, stomach problems may occur. If you notice any side effects, especially those not listed in this package leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

5. HOW TO STORE PROSTAGUTT UNO?

Keep medicines out of the reach of children. The expiry date is printed on the folding box and the label. Prostagutt uno should not be used after the expiry date! Do not store above 30°C!

6. HOW IS PROSTAGUTT UNO COMPOSED AND WHAT PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE?

1 capsule contains: Active ingredient: 320 mg dry extract from saw palmetto fruits (10-14.3:1); Extraction agent: Ethanol 90 % (m/m). Other ingredients: Gelatin polysuccinate; Glycerol 85 %; Iron(III) hydroxide oxide x H20; Iron(II,III) oxide; Patent blue V.

Prostagutt uno is available in packs of 60 (N1), 120 (N2) and 200 (N3) capsules.
