Azaron is a stick for application to the skin, which is used for itching after insect bites. For the relief or symptomatic elimination of itching after insect bites or stings and after contact with jellyfish or stinging nettles.
2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USING AZARON?
Azaron must not be used:
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to tripelennamine hydrochloride, other anti-allergic substances or any of the other ingredients of Azaron.
- in the case of inflammation at the itchy area of skin.

How often should you use Azaron?
Azaron is used once a day, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.

Possible side effects
Tripelennamine hydrochloride as an antipruritic active ingredient in Azaron is known to cause allergic dermatitis after application to the skin as well as a light-induced skin rash (so-called photoallergic exanthema). As a further ingredient, Azaron contains propylene glycol; it can cause allergic reactions (e.g. increased itching) in people who are particularly sensitive to this substance. In cases of such or other hypersensitivity reactions to the ingredients of Azaron, the application should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted if necessary.Reporting of side effects
