Please read the entire package leaflet carefully before you start using this product. Keep the package leaflet. You may want to read it again later. If you have any further questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist. If your symptoms persist, please contact your doctor

1. WHAT IS CATIONORM MD SINE AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Cationorm MD sine is a sterile hypotonic unpreserved eye drop emulsion in the form of a milky solution. Cationorm MD sine contains: paraffin oil, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, tris hydrochloride, tromethamine, cetalkonium chloride (as cationic substance) and purified water. Each bottle of Cationorm MD sine contains 10 ml of sterile emulsion. Cationorm MD sine supports all three layers of the tear film and thus contributes to long-lasting wetting and moistening of the eye surface as well as to the protection of the tear film from excessive evaporation. Cationorm MD sine is recommended for the relief of symptoms of dry eyes, such as stinging, itching or burning eyes or foreign body sensation (gritty or dusty feeling) in the eyes. These symptoms can be caused by external factors such as air conditioning, wind, air pollution, smoke, dust, air travel, screen work, wearing contact lenses, refractive corneal surgery (vision correction by laser eye treatment) or by a malfunction of the meibomian glands (lipid deficiency or incorrect lipid composition in the tear film).

2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE USING CATIONORM MD SINE?

Cationorm MD sine must not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of the product. This product is not suitable for the treatment of other eye diseases. Please contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. If you are currently using other eye drops, you should wait at least five minutes before using Cationorm MD sine, so that the previous drop is not washed out. It is recommended to drop Cationorm MD sine last. Cationorm MD sine does not affect the quality of contact lenses and can be used while wearing hard and soft contact lenses.

3. HOW TO USE CATIONORM MD SINE?

Application to the eye. The recommended dose is 1 drop in each eye 1 to 4 times a day.
