What is Artelac Complete EDO?
Artelac Complete EDO is a milky eye drop solution containing 0.24% hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), carbomer, glycerin and a lipid component. The innovative formulation is free of preservatives, buffer-free and therefore very well tolerated.

What is Artelac Complete EDO used for?
Artelac Complete EDO is an eye moisturizer that supplements all three layers of the tear film to improve the wetting of the eye surface in dry eyes.

When should Artelac Complete EDO be used?
Artelac Complete EDO contains the natural moisturizer hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), which is found in the structures of a healthy human eye, as well as two other moisturizers: glycerin and carbomer. In addition, Artelac Complete EDO also contains a lipid component and thus supplements all three layers of the tear film: the lipid layer, the aqueous layer and the mucin layer. Artelac Complete EDO remains on the surface of the eye and provides it with moisture for immediate and long-lasting relief of symptoms. It is the ideal product for anyone suffering from the symptoms of dry eye, such as tired, stressed, burning and/or watery eyes as well as a foreign body sensation in the eye.

How often and for how long should Artelac Complete EDO be used?
Apply one drop of Artelac Complete EDO to the eye as needed. You can use the drops daily and as often as you like. The duration of use is not limited. Dispose of the single-dose ophtioles after single use.

How to use Artelac Complete EDO?
Carefully detach a single-dose ophtiole from the strip. Twist (do not pull) off the cap of the single-dose ophtiole. Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid with a finger of your free hand. Hold the single-dose ophtiole as vertically as possible with the opening facing down over the open eye. Make sure that the single-dose ophtiole does not touch your eye to avoid possible injury or damage to the eye. Gently squeeze the single-dose ophtiole and apply one drop to the eye. Then close your eye, move it slightly to the right and left and blink to distribute the drop well over the surface of the eye.

When should Artelac Complete EDO not be used?
Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Important information on the use of Artelac Complete EDO:

• Local hypersensitivity reactions have been reported very rarely. In these cases, treatment should be discontinued.
• This product may cause temporary blurred vision after instillation, which may adversely affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
• Do not touch the eye surface with the tip of the EDO to avoid possible injury.
• Remove contact lenses before use.
• Wait approximately 15 minutes before using another preparation or reinserting your contact lenses.
• Do not reuse.
• Do not use after the expiry date.
• Do not use if the packaging or single-dose ophtiole is damaged.

How should Artelac Complete EDO be stored?
Store the product at +1°C to +25°C. Keep away from sunlight.

Dosage form

Artelac Complete EDO is available in pack sizes of 10 or 30 single-dose ophtioles, each containing 0.5 ml of eye drops.
