Ajvar, the mildly spicy condiment made from paprika and aubergine, is popular throughout south-eastern Europe and beyond. Ajvar has its roots in eastern cuisine and is particularly well-known in dishes such as gyuvech, cevapcici, stuffed bifteki, pilaf and ražnjići. The red spread is extremely versatile. Use it to add flavour to sauces, soups and curries, or simply enjoy it on its own as a dip, on bread or with grilled meat. No artificial flavour enhancers or flavourings are used in the production of Ajvar by Feinkost Dittmann. Store in a cool place after opening and consume within a few days. Ready to eat
