Chickpeas are a legume with a fine, nutty flavor that is particularly popular in Middle Eastern cuisine. Traditionally, they are used to make falafel or hummus; however, chickpeas are just as delicious in salads, soups, and vegetable dishes. 

The Alnatura chickpeas in a can are pre-cooked and therefore ready to use immediately. They are vegan and are grown according to organic guidelines.
