Psyllium husks, rich in fibre and protein

Psyllium husks – derived from the Indian plantain – are rich in fibre and protein. With their neutral taste, they can be added to muesli, smoothies, pastries and much more, similar to linseed and chia seeds. Alnatura psyllium husks are organically grown.

As they have a high swelling capacity, psyllium husks are suitable for binding and thickening sweet and savoury dishes. Important: Always consume psyllium husks with plenty of liquid and do not exceed a daily intake of 30 grams.

The packaging must also meet strict requirements. The aim is to find the most sustainable packaging that optimally protects the product at the same time. In addition, social and ecological justice play an important role: The company assumes responsibility for the environment and for all people who are involved in the creation of an Alnatura product and was one of the first companies to be certified according to the We-Care standard. Numerous Alnatura products indicate the initiatives for fair prices and fair partnerships with the "red corners" – for the sustainable management of organic farms and for the welfare of animals.
