Ingredients
- 1 package Feta (approx. 150 g)
- 350 g Penne Pasta
- 500 g Cherry Tomatoes
- 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 100 ml dry white wine (optional)
- 1 pot fresh basil
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Preparation
- 1Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.
- 2Wash the cherry tomatoes and place them in a baking dish. Mix with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, pepper, and white wine (if used).
- 3Push the tomatoes to the edge of the dish and place the block of feta in the center.
- 4Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the feta.
- 5Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for approx. 30 minutes, until the feta is soft and the tomatoes are lightly roasted.
- 6In the meantime, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
- 7Remove the baking dish from the oven. Mash the feta and tomatoes with a fork and stir into a creamy sauce. Fold in the cooked pasta and serve garnished with fresh basil leaves.
Tip
For a more intense flavor, you can roast a clove of garlic with the tomatoes.
