Ingredients

  • 1 package Feta (approx. 150 g)
  • 350 g Penne Pasta
  • 500 g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 100 ml dry white wine (optional)
  • 1 pot fresh basil
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.

    Wash the cherry tomatoes and place them in a baking dish. Mix with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, pepper, and white wine (if used).

    Push the tomatoes to the edge of the dish and place the block of feta in the center.

    Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the feta.

    Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for approx. 30 minutes, until the feta is soft and the tomatoes are lightly roasted.

    In the meantime, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to package instructions until al dente.

    Remove the baking dish from the oven. Mash the feta and tomatoes with a fork and stir into a creamy sauce. Fold in the cooked pasta and serve garnished with fresh basil leaves.
Tip
For a more intense flavor, you can roast a clove of garlic with the tomatoes.
