- 100 g whole wheat flour
- 200 ml kefir
- 20 ml olive oil
- 2 pcs eggs
- Seeds of a vanilla pod
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Baking release spray as needed
- Blueberries as desired
- Raspberries as desired
- Red currants as desired
- Natural yogurt for serving
- Low-fat quark for serving
- Maple syrup for garnish
Preparation
- 1Place all ingredients for the dough into a bowl and whisk until smooth, forming an even batter.
- 2Turn on the waffle iron and let it preheat sufficiently. Once ready, lightly spray the baking surfaces with baking release spray. Pour in the batter, close the waffle iron, and bake the waffles for about 3 to 3.5 minutes until golden brown. Do not open the waffle iron during baking to prevent the waffles from tearing or collapsing.
- 3Serve the warm waffles with fresh berries, a dollop of quark or yogurt, and drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy immediately.
