Ingredients
- 150 g ground beef
- 1 hamburger bun
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 leaves iceberg lettuce
- 2 slices tomatoes
- 2 rings red onions
Preparation
- 1Form the ground beef into a patty that is slightly larger than the bun. Lightly press the center to prevent the meat from bulging too much during frying. Season with salt and pepper just before frying.
- 2Heat a pan or grill with a little oil. Fry the patty over high heat for about 3 minutes per side (for medium). Shortly after flipping, place the cheddar slice on the meat so it can melt perfectly. At the same time, briefly toast the cut sides of the buns.
- 3Generously spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the bottom half of the bun. Layer with lettuce, the juicy meat with melted cheese, tomato slices, and onion rings.
- 4Place the top half of the bun on top and serve the cheeseburger immediately while it is still hot and juicy. Enjoy your meal!
