Large Chicken breast cutlets

The chickens grow up on farms within a radius of maximum 80 km. Most
farmers come directly from Rottal. This way, we can ensure short transport routes.
For the animals, this means less stress and short transport times, which in turn has a more positive CO2 balance.

The legislator specifies a maximum transport time of eight hours, at Geflügel Gross the animals are on the road for a maximum of 1.5 hours.

All animals are kept in floor housing with daylight and with a winter garden (run with fresh air).

Furthermore, all stables have animal welfare-compliant employment material for the chickens.

Together with the farmers, we try to raise the animals completely without antibiotic treatment .

Some farms have already been antibiotic-free for five years.

In addition, all fatteners have been "VLOG - without genetic engineering" since 2017, followed by the Animal Welfare Initiative and QS in 2018.

In two stables, the chicks are born directly in the stable: this is unique in
Europe so far and an absolute highlight in breeding. In this way, the transport of the
day-old chicks is eliminated and they can be immediately supplied with water and feed in the stables

The feed for our chickens consists of GMO-free complete feed and an additional 30 %
wheat, which is grown by our farmers themselves and therefore regionally.
