Maggi Semmel Knödel – the classic side dish for meat dishes
Whether turkey strips, Kasseler, goulash or beef roulades – hearty meat dishes only taste really delicious with the right side dishes. Vegetables, sauce and hearty Semmel Knödel round off the meat dish wonderfully. Maggi's Semmel Knödel are a real classic in the cold season. But even on warmer days you can indulge yourself with the delicious side dish.
And this is how it works: Place the desired number of cooking bags in a pot with cold water, the dumplings must be covered with plenty of water. Let it swell for about 5 minutes and stir occasionally. Bring to the boil, add a little salt and let it boil for about 1 minute. Leave to stand in an open pot over low heat for 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove the dumplings and briefly rinse with cold water. Finally, tear open the foil at the perforation, squeeze out the Semmel Knödel and arrange.
