Historically, the term "Spaghetto" first appeared in the Italian language dictionary written by Nicolò Tommaseo and Bernardo Bellini (1819). Here, the word Spaghetto is defined as "singular, masculine, diminutive of Spago" and the following note is added: "Minestra di Spaghetti: This is pasta the size of a small thread and the length of the Sopracapellini (synonym for Spaghetti)". A fun fact: In 1957, the BBC aired the first documentary on the production of Spaghetti and the next day the TV studios' phones were ringing off the hook with viewers wanting to know the names of Spaghetti manufacturers and retailers so they could buy it. Spaghetti is so versatile that it can be eaten with any sauce - from fish to meat, from vegetables to cheese. However, it also tastes great without sauce, just with a little extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
Store away from heat and light, avoid humid environments
For perfect cooking results: use 6 liters of water for 500 g of pasta. Add salt. Add pasta to boiling water. Stir several times. Drain pasta after cooking and serve
