Mondamin Fine Cornflour has been an essential in every kitchen for over 100 years. The pure cornflour is naturally gluten-free. Whether savoury or sweet – Mondamin Fine Cornflour is an all-rounder and can be used in many ways for cooking and baking. Our Mondamin Fine Cornflour is suitable for vegan and vegetarian dishes. Ideal for cakes made from sponge, biscuit or shortcrust pastry, biscuits, pancakes and waffles, fruit compotes and cold dishes, flummery and creams, soups and sauces. Mixing ratio: Sponge dough: 1/2 flour, 1/2 Mondamin Biscuit dough: 1/2 flour, 1/2 Mondamin Shortcrust pastry: 2/3 flour, 1/3 Mondamin For every 1/2 litre of liquid you need: Soups: 15-20 g Sauces: 15-25 g Preparation: Simply stir Mondamin Fine Cornflour into cold water, add to the boiling liquid while stirring and bring to the boil briefly. Mondamin is a branded product with more than 100 years of tradition. Mondamin Fine Cornflour was introduced in Germany in 1896. Since then, the Mondamin brand has been continuously expanded, first with Mondamin Fix sauce thickener and classic roux. Later, the range was expanded to include delicious sweet products such as semolina porridge, rice pudding, pudding and the practical shaker bottles. You can always rely on Mondamin: Sauces are guaranteed to succeed without lumps – semolina porridge, rice pudding and pudding do not burn – and cakes and pastries become particularly tender with the classic Mondamin Fine Cornflour and melt in your mouth.
