Organic pears from the Old Country
The Conference pear variety was introduced in 1895 by the English breeder Thomas Francis Rivers at the National Pear Conference in London.
Its fruits have a smooth and pressure-resistant skin, the greenish-yellow flesh is spicy, melting and extremely juicy. The Conference pear is suitable for fresh consumption, for juices, desserts, compote or as a cake topping.
Just outside the gates of Hamburg in the beautiful Old Country lies the Münch family business. Since 1982, they have been growing a wide variety of apple varieties according to organic guidelines out of conviction. Pears and plums complete their range.
