Pumpernickel, a spicy-malty wholemeal rye bread, is a Westphalian specialty. For Alnatura, it is made from organic ingredients, according to the original recipe and without preservatives (according to the law for organic food). Pumpernickel tastes good with sweet and savoury toppings and can also be used as a base for unusual dessert creations. Alnatura Westphalian Pumpernickel is pre-sliced - please store in a cool and dry place after opening.
