Ground flax seeds add an aromatic, nutty note to baked goods, mueslis and savoury quark dishes; they are also suitable for sprinkling on casseroles, salads and in smoothies. Alnatura ground flax seeds come from organic farming.

Since the small seeds have a high swelling capacity, it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids. The daily intake should not exceed ten grams; flax seeds are not suitable for children under 13 years of age.

The packaging must also meet strict requirements. The aim is to find the most sustainable packaging that optimally protects the product at the same time. Social and ecological justice also play an important role: the company assumes responsibility for the environment and for all people involved in the creation of an Alnatura product and was one of the first companies to be certified according to the We-Care standard.
