A versatile seasoning. With their aromatic, nutty flavor, nutritional yeast flakes are ideal for seasoning and thickening cold and warm dishes such as soups, sauces, casseroles, and salads. In vegan cuisine, they are the classic Parmesan substitute – simply sprinkled over pasta or risotto dishes.

Nutritional yeast should generally not be cooked with, but added to dishes after cooking. All agricultural ingredients for Alnatura nutritional yeast come from organic farming.

If the recipe, the origin of the ingredients, the processing method, or an ingredient does not seem reasonable and justifiable, the product is not manufactured. The packaging must also meet strict requirements. The aim is to find the most sustainable packaging that optimally protects the product at the same time. In addition, social and ecological justice play an important role: The company assumes responsibility for the environment and for all people involved in the creation of an Alnatura product and was one of the first companies to be certified according to the We-Care standard.
