Ludwigsluster Liver Sausage with Calf's Liver

More than a hundred years ago, the brothers Hermann and Ernst Schulze bought a small butcher's shop in Ludwigsluster Seminarstraße. Even then, tasty meat and sausage products were produced there, which soon made the company the purveyor to the court of the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. In those days, 15 pigs, 1 cow and 4 calves were slaughtered, butchered and processed per week. In the following three decades, production increased almost twentyfold. In the following year, 1927, a major fire destroyed almost three quarters of the factory. The factory was quickly rebuilt: Then as now, quality and craftsmanship are the highest values of the house.
