Salmon Stremel "Pepper"
Hot smoked. Juicy and tender salmon strips with aromatic crushed peppercorns. With skin. Practically boneless.
In the hot smoke, the strong salmon flavor of the salmon fillets cut into strips - "Stremel" in northern German - intensifies. Cured only with salt before smoking and seasoned with aromatic crushed peppercorns, the salmon transforms into a typical Nordic smoked delicacy.
The tender consistency and the rustic smoky aroma are particularly effective at room temperature. Therefore, it is best to remove the Stremel salmon from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before eating. Delicious on a slice of buttered toast, pure or as a refined topping on salads, bowls or tarte flambée.
