Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Blend the cottage cheese until smooth and combine in a bowl with flour and baking powder. Work into a smooth, slightly sticky dough, then knead for at least 4 minutes until elastic. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces (approx. 80 g). Shape each piece into a flat disc, press a hole in the middle, and form into a bagel. Place the bagels on the baking sheet, brush with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until the bagels are golden brown and slightly crispy. Let cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.
