Ingredients

  • 4 Pretzels
  • 100g Jay & Joy Jean-Jacques Organic Vegan Soft Cheese
  • 250g vegan butter
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 40g red onion
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 2 tsp caraway

Preparation

  • 1
It's best to let the margarine soften a bit at room temperature some time in advance.
  • 2
Bake the pretzels fresh in the oven according to package instructions.
  • 3
For the Obazda, put the soft margarine into a bowl. Unpack the vegan aged “Jean-Jacques” and add it to the margarine. Also add paprika powder and caraway, then 'mash' everything together with a fork, meaning mix well.
  • 4
Finely dice the red onion and mix it in as well.
  • 5
Season finally with enough salt and pepper.
  • 6
For serving, sprinkle some paprika powder over it and decorate with fresh onion rings as desired.
  • 7
Enjoy together with the fresh pretzels!
Tip
The vegan Obazda tastes even better if it has had a day to steep in the refrigerator.
