Ingredients
- 40 grams whole-wheat crackers (4 pieces)
- 25 grams marshmallows (4 pieces)
- 120 g milk chocolate
Preparation Grill or Campfire
- 1First, lightly toast marshmallows over the campfire or on the grill.
- 2Top a whole-wheat cracker with a piece of chocolate and a marshmallow. Then layer the second whole-wheat cracker on top.
- 3Continue toasting this marshmallow sandwich until the chocolate begins to melt, then enjoy immediately.
Preparation Oven
- 1Preheat the oven to 200 °C grill setting. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the still open marshmallow sandwiches (without the chocolate pieces) on it. Bake for about 3-5 minutes until the marshmallows are browned. Afterwards, sprinkle the chocolate pieces over the marshmallows and place the second, still hot whole-wheat cracker on top and serve.
Tip
The residual embers of the campfire or grill are perfectly sufficient for toasting the marshmallows. Therefore, be careful that your marshmallow doesn't turn black too quickly over the fire.
